Cultivating Collaborations
Acclaimed guest artist and educator Caroline Woolard will facilitate an interactive workshop on the practice and potential of interdisciplinary collaborations. Meet and greet the driving individuals behind current MDOCS campus-community collaborations, catalyze new connections, and collectively create a zine with fellow workshop participants. Curated and with an introduction by Angela Beallor, facilitator of the Co-Creation Initiative.

Caroline Woolard (carolinewoolard.com) is an artist and thought leader whose wide-ranging work catalyzes connection and impacts in and beyond the arts’ traditional sphere. She is a founding co-organizer of Art. coop and head of strategy at Pollinator.coop. She is the co-author of two major reports: “Solidarity Not Charity” (Grantmakers in the Arts, 2021) and “Spirits and Logistics” (Center for Cultural Innovation, 2022), and three books: “Making and Being” (Pioneer Works, 2019), “Art, Engagement, Economy” (onomatopee, 2020), and “TRADE SCHOOL: 2009-2019.” Woolard's artwork has been featured twice on New York Close Up, which is produced by Art21 and broadcast on PBS.
