Campus Conversation with James Francisco Bonilla

All are invited to join author, activist, and scholar James Francisco Bonilla, along with the Departments of Social Work and Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies for an intersectional campus conversation for Disability Awareness Month on Wednesday, March 4, from 6:30-8:00 pm in Davis Auditorium. Bonilla will discuss his memoir An Eye for an I: Growing Up with Blindness, Bigotry, and Family Mental Illness, sharing his experiences navigating disability, racism, and family mental illness. He will then be in conversation with faculty members Abel Arango, Violeta Lorenzo, and June Paul, followed by audience Q&A.
