Join us for a performance by Heard. Heard combines jazz, classical, and world instruments to form a unique arrangement of sound. The band blends global styles and influences in a way that takes listeners on unexpected journeys. The band last played UpBeat in 2014.The performance will include special appearance by jazz guitarist George Muscatello (Skidmore Music Department Performance Faculty).
For its 17th season, the UpBeat on the Roof summer series now takes place every Thursday, July 13 through August 24 from 7:00 - 8:00 pm.
Performances are free and open to the public. The rooftop is accessible via the museum elevator or outdoor staircases. In the case of inclement weather the series is held inside the museum.
