On December 14th at 8pm in Falstaff's students from EN 341: Medieval Drama will present three short plays from the English Corpus Christi cycle: the N-Town "Fall of Lucifer," the York "Fall of Man," and the Brome "Sacrifice of Isaac." Filled with earthy humor, realistic and fantastic elements, pathos, and doctrine, these plays were — and still are — wonderfully imaginative and entertaining, as well as didactic.
The plays will be performed in their original Middle English dialects (with subtitles). Medieval-style entertainments and refreshments will be available during the intervals.
