Jazz Dance. What is it? Where did it start? What makes it special? Why is it important in American dance history? Join guest speaker Paula J. Peters, Assistant Professor of Dance at SUNY Fredonia, for a presentation on how the physical aesthetics, musicality, and performance qualities of Jazz Dance influence, and have been shaped by the sociocultural diversity of America across the decades.
