"Evensong"
Directed by Katie Gardiner
A program of music inspired by the Evensong format from the Anglican tradition, reflecting a time for restful contemplation for all. The chorus will present pieces by Rachmaninoff, and "Chichester Psalms" by Bernstein sung in Hebrew and featuring organ, harp and percussion, plus a piece by Erik Esenwalds highlighting instrumental water glasses. The Vocal Chamber Ensemble will perform works by Arvo Part, Herbert Howels, and Latvian composer Imant Ramish.
