Performing
for Skidmore students to celebrate the eclectic music they bring to the Zankel
Music Center each year, San Fermin is a Brooklyn-based alternative band. Beginning
as makeshift project, the octet signed a record deal with Downtown after
performing only a single concert. Following rave reviews for their
self-titled debut album in 2013, the musicians embarked on a world tour of
sold-out shows and festivals, opening for the likes of the National, St.
Vincent, Arctic Monkeys, and the Head and the Heart. This year they joined
Alt-J on tour to promote their recently released sophomore album, Jackrabbit.
Tickets: $5 Skidmore
Students. If tickets are still available prior to the event they will be
offered at the door at $10 for general public.
