Join us for a performance by bell’s roar on the rooftop of the Tang. Sean Desiree’s solo project, bell’s roar, blends hauntingly layered vocals with synthesizers, percussion, and guitar to produce upbeat yet dreamy soundscapes. As a queer, gender-nonconforming person of color, Desiree creates music that confronts isolation and oppression.
For its 19th season, the Upbeat on the Roof summer series highlights regional musical talent every Thursday, July 11 through August 22 from 7:00-8:00 pm.
Performances are free and open to the public. The rooftop is accessible via the museum elevator or outdoor staircases. In the case of inclement weather the series is held inside the museum.
