Mace Vaughan is the Co-Director of the Pollinator Program at
the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation and author of Attracting
Native Pollinators. He will discuss his
work on the federal Farm Bill, as a case study for how federal policy can help
set up possible solutions to conservation issues. He will also talk about Bee City and Bee
Campus USA, Xerces Society programs developed to protect pollinators on a local
level that are being established across the country, including in
Saratoga.
Admission is free and open to the
public.
