Formed in 1980 in Amsterdam, New York, this twelve-piece orchestra led
by Bronx-born bassist Alex Torres performs their original blend of
Afro-Caribbean rhythms such as Salsa, Merengue, Cha-cha, Bomba, Plena, and
Latin jazz.
