For part of my Civic Life Project, I am organizing a speaker event which will take place on Thursday, November 8 at 7pm in Ladd 307.
Jill Fecteau, who created local grassroots organization Earth's Last Straw, is coming to campus to share her story of creating her own organization. She is a Saratoga Springs-based environmental activist with the focus on reducing single-use plastics. We will also be raffling off reusable straws!
There will be a sign in for Honors Forum students looking to fulfill their participation requirement for this semester.
