Join us Friday, September 18, at noon, for a conversation with exhibiting artist Stephanie Syjuco and Never Done: 100 Years of Women in Politics and Beyond co-curators Rachel Seligman, Malloy Curator, Tang Museum, and Minita Sanghvi, Assistant Professor of Management, Marketing, and Business, Skidmore College. About the Artist

Stephanie Syjuco is an artist who uses photography, textiles, and material culture to create works that interrogate national belonging, civic engagement, and radical responsibility. Syjuco was born in Manila, Philippines, in 1974 and lives and works in San Francisco. She has a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and an MFA from Stanford University. She has taught at Stanford University, California College of the Arts, San Francisco Art Institute, Mills College, Carnegie Mellon University, and the University of California, Berkeley. She has had numerous group and solo exhibitions including Stephanie Syjuco: Rogue States at the Contemporary Art Museum, St. Louis; CITIZENS at Ryan Lee Gallery, New York City; and the forthcoming Stephanie Syjuco: The Visible Invisible at the Blaffer Art Museum, Houston.
