AUTHOR TALK 6:00 PM: Miriam Pawal is a Pulitzer Prize winning
journalist whose latest work, The Crusades of Cesar Chavez, comprehensively
reflects the life of the unassuming man who took on the most powerful
unions in the country to achieve a better life for hundreds of thousands of
farmworkers. Pawal speaks about the man, his achievements, and the impact he
had on his generation and those that followed.
