Blues for two or more will feature the Reverend Robert Jones,
veteran bluesman from Detroit, MI, and another fine singer from Boston, MA,
Carolyn Waters. Jones has more than 30 years of experience as a performer,
educational presenter and he loves the challenge of using traditional music as
a vehicle to address issues of today. His vast repertoire of traditional and
original music gets to the heart of singing for freedom, love and justice.
Waters is a singing/songwriter who fuses blues/folk and other musical genres
into a unique, unforgettable blend of sweet phrasing, songs and
sounds. Skidmore students will work on a classic blues selection in
the workshop and will be invited to present in the evening show.
