The Tang Teaching Museum will host a Juneteenth celebration featuring family-friendly fun with arts and crafts, storytelling for children, and live performances. The event will also feature food and goods vendors from local businesses, and books will be available to check out from Skidmore’s Lucy Scribner Library. All activities are free and open to the public.
The celebration is co-sponsored by Skidmore’s Black Studies, Political Science, History, American Studies, Intergroup Relations, International Affairs, Theater, Music, and Sociology departments, as well as the President’s Office, the Tang Teaching Museum, and Lucy Scribner Library.
