Falstaff's is hosting a special Halloween art show. The event will feature the unveiling of Madeleine Burkhart's sound/sculpture piece, Tlaltecuhtli, along with thematically related works of other artists. The name Tlaltecuhtli refers to the Aztec earth monster, depicted in codices as a series of gaping mouths in the ground--the earth consumes us along with all things, yet it also bears everything anew.
The show is sponsored by the Falstaff's Operating Committee and will be open to the public. Seasonal refreshments will be provided.
