Lunch with Rachel Allen ’12, Nurse Practitioner, Equality
Health Center
After completing a Bachelor’s
Degree in Biology at Skidmore College, Ms. Allen completed a BS in Nursing and
then MS in Nursing – Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at Columbia
University. She now works for Equality Health Center, an organization
that provides sexual and reproductive health services including: acute and routine gynecology services, family planning
including abortion care, transgender health services and gender affirming
hormone therapy, STI screening and treatment, HIV PrEP and PEP. For more

addition to her time at Equality Health Center, she also works per diem at
Planned Parenthood.
