The Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum
and Art Gallery Family Saturday program features a brief tour of one of the
exhibitions and a hands-on art activity. The free program runs from 2:00 – 3:30
PM, and is suitable for children ages 5 and up along with their adult
companions. All materials are provided. Reservations may be made one week
before the program by calling the Tang’s Visitor Service Desk at 580-8080.
This week, we will look at and discuss Dean
Snyder’s steel spider web, Arachna’s
Arcade, in the exhibition According
to What, then make colorful spider webs and spiders out of pipe-cleaners,
beads, and colored wire.
