What do you stand for? Join us Tuesday, October 8, at 6pm, for Banners You Can Wear: A Cape-Making Workshop led by artist Yvette Molina and organized in conjunction with the exhibition Yvette Molina: A Promise to the Leaves. In this workshop, participants will create capes inspired by the Wide Awakes, an extensive group of artists and activists who bring joy to politics, protest, and social justice.
The Tang will provide supplies, but you are welcome to bring your own fabrics or designs if you would like to add them to your cape. No experience needed!
This workshop is free and open to the public.
