Batiste is a globally celebrated musician, educator, bandleader and television personality; his band Stay Human is seen nightly on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Batiste (piano/B3/melodica/vocals) and bandmate Joe Saylor
(drums/percussion) are former Jazz Institute participants. They will be joined by Louis Cato
(bass/acoustic guitar/vocals), Ibanda Ruhumbika (tuba/percussion), Patrick
Brantley (alto/tenor saxophones), Louis Fouche (alto and tenor saxophones) and
Corey Wilcox (trombone).
