Event Details - Tang at Home Studio

 Join us for Tang at Home Studio on Saturday, November 13, at 11:00 am to talk about art, make art, and share — all conducted via Zoom.

This week we will explore a textile piece by Gina Adams from the Tang collection titled Aaniin czhichigeYan what are You doing. Adams’ work is inspired by conversations with her aunt and her nephew about their Ojibwe language and relearning about their histories through artmaking. We will think about and create our own “quilt” that reflects our own familial histories and maybe weave new traditions and stories through this artwork, too!

Tang at Home Studios are free, however, registration is required and space is limited. Registration information for this event will be posted to the Tang website soon.

Once you register, you will receive project instructions, a list of materials, and a link to Sunday’s Zoom meeting. Register early, as space is limited. Registration will close once the workshop reaches capacity.
