Join us Wednesday, September 26, at 6:00 PM, for an open workshop where we'll craft, collage, and discuss zines and activism. Organized by the Skidmore Zine Club and the Tang’s Student Advisory Council, this event is held in conjunction with the exhibition They're, Their, There, which explores queer identity and expression through zines, artwork, and ephemera that challenge the dominant forms and voices in mass media. Zines, DIY or self-published mini-magazines or booklets, have often been a major part of social revolutions. Zines are an accessible and inclusive form of free expression and an outlet for marginalized voices and identities. Do you have something to say? Say it with your very own zine.
Join us at The Tang for an open workshop where we'll craft, collage, and discuss zines and activism in conjunction with exhibition They're, Their, There. Everyone is welcome, even if you just want to stop by and make a zine for fun.
