Documentary Film Screening,
“Bombshell”
The film tells the story of actress
Hedy Lamarr, who became known as the “most beautiful girl in the world” during
the Golden Age of Hollywood and was also a creative genius who patented a
“secret communications system” that is the basis of the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth,
satellite, and military technology millions of people use today.
Lesley Norman ’79 (Production
Executive, WNET - New York PBS affiliate) will moderate a conversation with the
film’s director and producer, Alexandra Dean, after the screening.
Free and open to the Skidmore
College and greater Saratoga Springs communities.
Co-sponsored by MDOCS and the Office of
Advancement
