The 3rd Annual Dr. King Challenge launches
MLK Saratoga's Dr. King Celebration Weekend with an
energizing evening of powerful micro-performances by regional performance
artists, in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and expressing the
critical, "in-our-face" realities of our time. NY-based
artist / activist Taina Asili opens the evening with a
passionate brief presentation on the current plight of Puerto Rico. (Ms.

Dr. King Challenge event is FREE and open to the public, as are all
other Celebration Weekend events -- with the
exception of our opening Resistance Reception, 6-7 pm, being held for Sponsors
