Join Skidmore Sustainability and NYSERDA on Monday, February 2, at 5 pm, for an information session on heat pump technology. Did you know that the Tang Museum is one of 33 buildings on the Skidmore campus that uses ground source heat pumps (geothermal) to heat and cool the building year-round? These all-in-one heating and air conditioning systems are environmentally friendly and extremely efficient. Skidmore College is part of NYSERDA’s Experience Clean Heat Program, demonstrating heat pump technology in action! Paul Stathis from TRC Companies will give a 45-minute presentation to discuss Skidmore’s HVAC systems, and how heat pumps help Skidmore meet its sustainability goals and keep nearly half the campus, including the Tang, comfortable all year long.

Please stay after the presentation for a Q&A with a chance to win gift cards. Light refreshments will be provided.
