Skidmore welcomes 2016 Raab Visiting Artist Sonya Clark. Perhaps best known for her Hair Craft Project, Clark has shown extensively throughout the United States and internationally. Her most recent exhibition, Generations: Joyce Scott and Sonya Clark, was at Goya Contemporary in Baltimore, Maryland in May 2016. Chair of the Craft and Material Studies Department at Virginia Commonwealth University, Clark received her MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art and her BFA from Chicago Art Institute.
