Complete Bartok String Quartet Series
Six
internationally renowned guest artists will be performing the complete set of
Hungarian composer Bela Bartok’s string quartets. This semester we welcome the
American String Quartet as the first in the Bartok series.
The
American String Quartet, Peter Winograd (violin), Laurie Carney (violin),
Daniel Avshalomov (viola), and Wolfram Koessel (cello) have performed around
the world both as individuals and as one of the world’s most renowned and
celebrated ensembles, earning praise from American and European critics alike.
Tickets:
$8 adults, $5 seniors and Skidmore faculty/staff, alumni/retirees, free
for all students and children
